The Facebook Timeline

Is interesting. I was hesitant at first. It just seemed too complex compared to the old Facebook. It took me about a week to figure it out. I comprehend things slowly. When I did, I realized the only real use I had for this was to go through my timeline to see who posted on my wall and my status updates. Many of my updates were filled with misspelled words and just plain stupidity. At the time I might have thought I was the coolest kid around, but looking back I see how stupid I was. Oh well. Live for the moment. What I found even more interesting was that many of the people I used to speak with aren't even friends with me anymore in any capacity. The ones that I am still friends with on Facebook, have minimal contact with me. We've all been through this. I think this has to do with proximity more than anything. It is nothing to get worked up over. Things change over time. It's the way life is. The best thing to do is to continue and find more people you get along with. There's 7 billion people on Earth, so it shouldn't be a difficult task. Also, I realized people don't forget you on your birthday. Either that, or they just feel like it's a small courtesy that they would like done to them. It was hilarious when I clicked on the profiles of girls I used to playfully flirt with. A smile came upon my face when these same girls were engaged, or even married today. So those of you who have not made the switch, I suggest you do. You will be pleasantly surprised. I am Baliwala. Will you be my friend, temporarily? That is all.
